THE MISSION OF OUR SCHOOL :
“The learning centered upon pupils to obtain equal chances trough education.”


General School Dichiseni is an organization with open doors, which it depends of the background where it acts and it must develop to adapt for a definite social background, which is in rapid and unpredictably changeability.
The goal of our school:
-The assurance of elementary education for all the children.
-The child’s capacity with knowledge and abilities to develop the effective and creative reference to a social and material background to allow the continuance of education.
-The assurance of an optimum professional and scholastic direction in relation with the pupils’ abilities and aspirations.
-Active participation in educational projects together with schools from Romania and other countries.

ECOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES

Environmental activities proposed for school year 2009-2010 in Dichiseni School are:

1. Educational project “School for a future green”
2. Partnerships between Dichiseni School and Tonea School “SOS Nature”

1.“School for a future green” is an educational project and national competition organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) and CD PRESS publishing house. This project starts from idea that school must be a place where everybody think to commonweal and to a better and cleaning future on a planet where people live in harmony with nature.
For this competition our school prepared some activities in which our students are learning to protect nature; they are developing their skills. Also, they can develop their responsibility concerning their community and environment in which they learn and live.
Practically we start with establishment of our green team (15 students and 3 teachers), our schedule, publishing our intention and planning at our board in school. Also we applied some ecological questioning to students from school and parents to discover how many information they have about this theme.
After this, students made a lot of decorative objects from recycle materials (pet, leaves, seed, paper, metal, plastics, ) very beautiful. And a lot of drawings for school exhibition...



For EARTH DAY green team prepared information materials, posters, poetry for Earth, essays, "Ecological Good Manners Code"





Our logo is “SAVE THE EARTH, IT’S DEPEND ONLY BY US!!!

And we proposed to celebrate Earth Day with a big activity named “Backpacking on Borcea (Danube branch) side” for garbage collection on 26.04.2010 (we will make a movie) to show to the others that is possible (IT’S UP TO US!) to have a clean and beautiful nature.



2. "SOS Nature!" is a partnerships between Dichiseni School and Tonea School which have that a main purpose: education for children ecological action, knowing nature values, competency training for environmental protect. Tools used are:questionnaires, open letters, movies, posters, drawings. Activities made for realized the main purpose was: seminars, workshops, communication session, exhibitions, PPT presentations, "Eco" carnival, web publishing. It was a good occasion for our students to collaborate with another students from another school to share their experiences, opinions, conditions, work.

In this semester we had an activity in Volunteering Week with students, as well. Students from 8th and 7th classes participated in a forest tree planting campaign.
